2026 Run to the Sun Car Show

The Run to the Sun Car Show, one of the largest in the Southeast, brings thousands of classic cars to Myrtle Beach for a weekend-long event. The massive event has been a staple on the Grand Strand for more than 35 years. The show includes thousands of pre-1989 cars and trucks with awards given in multiple categories. Organizers are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Catherine Bach, who played Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazard television series. Attendees are encouraged to seize the opportunity for photos and interaction at the celebrity area in the north-west vendor and sponsor zone. The Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is not only a celebration of automobiles but also a platform for philanthropy. The event has consistently supported various local and national charities, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Children’s Miracle Network at McLeod Children’s Hospital, Horry County Sheriff’s Department Benevolent Fund, Grand Strand Miracle League, and the Carolina Forest HS NJROTC Booster Club. Over the years, these contributions have exceeded $2.0 million. The show will take place March 19-21, 2026 and will run daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the old Myrtle Square Mall. Spectator tickets are $20 for a single-day adult ticket or $35 for a three-day pass. Military members can purchase 3-day tickets for $15 (includes family members). Children 12 and younger are free.
