Vacationing in North Myrtle Beach is fun any time of the year because there are always tons of fun things to do! 2022 will be chock-full of festivals and evens in North Myrtle Beach and the rest of the Grand Strand, giving you even more of a reason to book your stay in our beautiful city.

March Events in North Myrtle Beach

North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 19, 2022 | This annual event is a fan favorite year after year, drawing large crowds to Ocean Boulevard and Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The festivities kick off with a parade and continue throughout the day with a street festival featuring food, live entertainment, and plenty of fun!

April Events in North Myrtle Beach

Barefoot Bunny Hop | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9, 2022 | Enjoy a live DJ, dance party on the law, scavenger hunt, and a visit from the Easter bunny at this kid-friendly event at Barefoot Landing.

Monday After the Masters | All Day event April 11, 2022 | The annual Celebrity Pro-Am tournament is held each Monday following the Masters Golf Tournament and hosted by Hootie and the Blowfish. Past celebrities include Dan Marino, Alice Cooper and Samuel L. Jackson alongside golfers such as Arnold Palmer, Woody Austin, and Tiger Woods.

SOS Spring Safari | April 21-May 1 | North Myrtle Beach is the center of the action for the Society of Stranders’ annual Spring Safari. The event is a celebration of all things shag and includes dance lessons, tea parties, live music and more.

May Events in North Myrtle Beach

Fiesta 5K at Barefoot Landing | 7 a.m. May 7 | Now in its second year, the Fiesta 5K is on its way to becoming a Cinco de Mayo weekend tradition in North Myrtle Beach. The event begins at 7 a.m. May 7 at Barefoot Landing with a family-friendly race through the shopping and dining complex. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome in the race.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally | May 13-22, 2022 | One of the largest motorcycle rallies in the country will return to the beach this spring. The rally is slated for May 13-22, 2022, and though most participants congregate on the south end of the Grand Strand, many bikers make their way through North Myrtle Beach as well.

Atlantic Beach Bikefest | May 27-30, 2022 | After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the annual Atlantic Beach Bikefest is slated to return to the Grand Strand for Memorial Day Weekend in 2022. Atlantic Beach is located between North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach, and participants enjoy the entire Grand Strand throughout the event.

World Famous Blue Crab Festival | May 14-15, 2022 | The World Famous Blue Crab Festival draws thousands of visitors to the historic Little River waterfront each year for a celebration of the bounty of the Atlantic. Local vendors and crafters will be on hand along with plenty of delicious food and live entertainment.
