North Myrtle Beach Attraction Spotlight: Shark Wake Park

No, there aren’t actually sharks at this cool attraction, so no worries here! Shark Wake Park is located at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex and offers a unique cable wakeboarding experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the area.
Shark Wake Park 843 provides a variety of experiences for visitors to choose from, including the Wake Park, Aqua Park, Shark Shack, and even summer camp!
The Wake Park is perfect for all skill-sets and no experience is required to enjoy this attraction. This easy-to-learn-on cable system boasts 5-tower full-size cable and 2-tower cable system from Alta Cable Ski, complete with UNIT Parktech features.
Shark Wake Park offers daily rates for the Wake Park including 2-hour rates for beginners and advanced riders as well as for those who bring their own gear. There are also all-day rates, multi-day passes, and a Beginner Clinic Package for those who want to learn from the pros on staff.
The Aqua Park may seem less daunting for those who may not be athletic, and this outdoor inflatable aqua park is one of the largest Wibits on the east coast. This fun attraction covers an acre of water and holds up to 120 people per hour, so you don’t have to worry about waiting in long lines. Guests must be at least 7 years old and at least 45” tall as well as have the ability to swim to play in the Aqua Park.
The rates for the Aqua Park are broken down into single session rates (45 minutes) double sessions (additional 45 minutes on the same day) and all day sessions. There are also unlimited session passes for the summer (from Memorial Day until Labor Day).
The Shark Shack is a cool little hangout that’s perfect for chilling out after a fun day on the water. They offer beer, wine, snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, and items such as sunglasses and sunscreen for purchase.
Whether you’re here on vacation or a North Myrtle Beach local, the Shark Wake Park summer camp is perfect for kids who love sports, the outdoors, and water!
