New Year’s Eve in North Myrtle Beach

Everyone loves to celebrate New Year's Eve, but do you know where you're going this year? North Myrtle Beach is home to many fabulous New Year's Eve events, and this year the list of events is seemingly endless. In order to make your event planning a little easier, we have put together a list of New Year's Eve celebrations in North Myrtle Beach. Check it out:

New Year at 2001 Nightclub

Celebrate 2016 at 2001 Nightclub! This happening spot is hosting a 3-night extravaganza featuring live entertainment and DJs. Admission is $25, and those who purchase tickets will get in for free on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday, December 31- Pizzaz Band in Next Level and Chocolat Chip & Co. in Club Touch

Friday, January 1- Too Much Sylvia

Saturday, January 2- Blackwater Rhythm & Blues.

New Year's Eve Aboard the Barefoot Princess Riverboat

Ring in the new year in style on the Barefoot Princess Riverboat. This year, the Barefoot Princess Riverboat is offering three separate celebration cruises. Reservations are required for each cruise.

The first cruise is the New Year’s Eve Sightseeing Cruise. This will include music and narration by Steve Calfee and will last from 2-3:30 p.m. This cruise is $21 per person.

The second cruise is the New Year’s Eve Dinner Cruise, which will feature a buffet and music by Johnny Cobb. This cruise will take place from 6-8 p.m. and costs $49 per person.

The final cruise is the New Year’s Eve Dance and Dessert Cruise which will have more music by Johnny Cobb. This cruise is only for those who are age 21+ and will sail from 10:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Tickets are $58 per person.

Comedy Cabana

Ring in 2016 with a laugh at the Comedy Cabana. On New Year’s Eve, Comedy Cabana will be hosting two shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. These shows will include performances by Troy Thirdgill, Devin Siebold, and Cooter Douglas.

Reservations for this event are recommended. Each New Year’s Eve package comes with: reserved seating, gift certificate, autographed photo, balloon drop and champagne toast for the 10 p.m. show.

New Year’s Eve with Corey Smith

Corey Smith is returning to the House of Blues for his annual New Year’s Eve show.  Ticket prices start at $22 and will most likely sell out, so be sure to get yours early!

House of Blues New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance

Celebrate 2016 at the House of Blues! On New Year’s Eve, House of Blues is hosting an evening of dinner and dancing. The dinner will include a four-course dinner as well as live music by Nickel Bag of Funk. The price for this event is $84.95 which includes your four-course dinner, party favors, BOGO 2016 Murder Mystery Dinner certificate, BOGO 2016 Gospel Brunch certificate, certificate for two free tickets to a future show, and a 25% discount in the company store.

Avista Resort North Myrtle Beach

Avista Resort is hosting a New Year’s Eve Celebration Dinner and Party. Dinner will include a variety of appetizers such as bacon-wrapped scallops, vegetable spring rolls, shrimp cocktail, as well as buffet items like chicken piccata, bleu cheese-stuffed pork loin with walnut sauce, prime rib, tortellini alfredo, and more.

Live music will be performed by Lakeside Drive to kick off the celebration. There will also be a midnight champagne toast while guests watch the Ball Drop. Tickets are $90 per person and $170 oer couple plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required for this event.

Barefoot landing

Barefoot Landing will be celebrating the New Year with a fireworks show. Fireworks will begin at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Castano's Italian Steakhouse

Located at Barefoot Landing, Castano’s Italian Steakhouse will be hosting a dinner to celebrate 2016. This New Year’s Eve celebration will include a special menu, live music, party favors, and a balloon drop.

Greg Norman's Australian Grille

Spend your New Year’s Eve at Greg Norman’s Australian Grille. The special dinner will include cream of lobster soup, pan-seared and butter-poached grouper served with lump crab risotto, ribeye, surf and turf, a salad with grilled pear, candied bacon, goat cheese, and smoked ham, and a lemon Bavarian cake.

Live music will be performed by Surfside from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. and there will be a champagne toast at midnight.

Joe's Bar & Grill

Celebrate the New Year with Joe’s Bar & Grill. This year, Joe’s will have a special menu with a starter and a choice of salad. The celebration entrée will be two 3-4 ounce South African Rock Lobster Tails and a 6 ounce filet mignon served with garlic oven roasted potatoes and a vegetable. Dessert will be white chocolate banana bread pudding or guiltless brownie a la mode. This event will be $85 per couple or $45 per person. Reservations are not required but strongly suggested.

North Beach Plantation

North Beach Plantation is bringing back their annual New Year’s Eve Gala. This event will take place in 21 Main from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Live entertainment will be provided by singer Gene Santini. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with a premium open bar, select wines, and hors d’oeuvres. Several food stations will be available like the carving board with steak and lamb, a hot station with fish and chicken, a pasta station, and a cold station with salads. Tickets for this event are $125 per person.

Prince Resort North Myrtle Beach

For New Year’s Eve, Prince Resort is offering a huge celebration. The event at Prince Resort includes a celebration and dinner package for $65 per person or $39 per person for just dinner. The New Year’s Eve dinner will feature tossed salad, crab and shrimp salad, chicken breast, roast pork loin, herb-crusted grouper, and a variety of sides. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. for those only interested in dinner. For those staying after for the party, dinner will begin at 8 p.m. Guests will enjoy a DJ, party favorites, a cash bar, and a champagne toast.           

SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar

If you’re interested in heading over to SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar this New Year’s Eve, they are accepting reservations. Call ahead as tables will fill very fast!

The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro

The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro is hosting a special New Year’s Eve dinner from 4 – 10 p.m. Call the restaurant for more details and reservations.
