There are several places in the North Myrtle Beach area where you can watch live comics perform. From improv comedy, to stand-up, and even family-friendly comedy in local variety shows, the Grand Strand offers a variety of shows that will make people of all ages cracking up in their seats.

Carolina Comedy Club

The Carolina Comedy Club, located at Broadway at the Beach, offers a new take on a traditional stand-up comedy club. Along with hosting professional stand-up comics who have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, The Tonight Show, and more, Carolina Comedy Club also provides comedy that uses magic and hypnosis. Don’t worry about getting hungry here; this club boasts a full menu with appetizers, salads, burgers, wings, drinks, and more.

Carolina Improv Company

Sure, stand-up comedy is funny, but sometimes, improv comedy is even funnier! The Carolina Improv Company performs in the Uptown Theater at the Myrtle Beach Mall. This troupe puts on fantastic improv shows that will leave audience members with a unique experience every time. Show titles here include: “Whose Night Out is it Anyway?”; “Chick Dictionary”; “Whose Beach is is Anyway?”; “50 Shade of Improv”; and more. Comedy Cabana

Located on the North End of Myrtle Beach in Restaurant Row, Comedy Cabana has been providing the North Myrtle Beach area with laughs for years. Offering comedy shows almost every day of the week during the summer season, Comedy Cabana is a five-star venue that is great for people ages 15 years and older (people ages 15-17 must be accompanied by an adult). Past headliners have included renowned comedians like Josh Blue, Lewis Black, Bob Nelson, and more. Of course, the Comedy Club is home to a full menu with drinks, appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, and much more!

ONE: The Show

The Alabama Theatre at Barefoot Landing is home to a wonderful variety performance called ONE: The Show. While the entire show is not specifically a comedy show, there is a resident comedian named Ricky Mokel, who always has people of all ages laughing throughout the show. ONE: The Show, with Ricky Mokel, is definitely a wonderful entertainment option for the entire family!

The Carolina Opry, a.k.a. TCO is a family-friendly variety show that involves singing, dancing, and comedy.
