Eat at Your Favorite Restaurants

Stay Cool

Since the average air temperature in July is around 91º, it’s important to stay cool and hydrated while you’re visiting North Myrtle Beach. Of course, you can always take a dip in your resort pool or in the Atlantic Ocean, but you can also keep cool many other ways, too! Head to Barefoot Landing and do some shopping in air-conditioned shops and grab some ice cream while you’re there, or go see a movie at the Myrtle Beach Mall. If you’re an adult, you can book a casino cruise on the Big “M” Casino boat for the day and have a blast gambling while staying nice and cool. 

Play Outside

If you love the outdoors, then you’re in luck. There are plenty of outdoorsy things to do in the North Myrtle Beach area other than just going to the beach. Spend a morning or afternoon on a kayak eco-tour, or learn how to surf. Try your hand at fishing on a charter boat or off of the Cherry Grove Pier. You can also explore places like Brookgreen Gardens or La Belle Amie Vineyards. The possibilities are endless! 

Take a Road Trip

Sure, you can spend your entire vacation in North Myrtle Beach, but if you’ve been here more than once and want to explore more of the Grand Strand, or places nearby, then we don’t blame you. Drive just a short distance north of North Myrtle Beach and you’ll find Calabash; a fishing town that is known for delicious fried seafood and shopping. Or, head south and visit Pawleys Island, Georgetown, or even Charleston. One thing’s for sure; you’ll never get bored on vacation here. 

Play in the Water

Chances are you’re visiting North Myrtle Beach in July to enjoy the beach and go swimming under the warm summer sun. Spend the day on the beach splashing in the ocean, or hang out by the pool at your resort.
